Suns Injury News: Grayson Allen Questionable vs. Cavaliers

The Phoenix Suns could be without starting guard/forward Grayson Allen for tonight’s matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers as he nurses a sore left hip. Allen is officially listed on the Suns injury report as questionable.

Allen has been a terrific role player for the Suns this season, leading the league in 3-point shooting, making 46.9% of his attempts. Without Allen, the Suns would likely turn to veteran Eric Gordon, who has started 24 games this season and is also a threat from the 3-point line, shooting 38.4% from deep.

This game is important for the Suns’ playoff seeding, as they currently sit tied with the Sacramento Kings at 44-31 (the Suns lose that tiebreaker, placing them in the No. 8 seed). Phoenix is just one game back of the Dallas Mavericks (No. 5) and New Orleans Pelicans (No. 6) in the Western Conference and would love to avoid the play-in tournament.
